My professional background a safeguarding pastoral role in the Further Education sector. Several years of experience supporting vulnerable students from a wide range of ages and abilities contributes largely to ability to apply attentiveness and empathy beyond my personal preference, experience and perspective.
I also work as a Group Facilitor at a dynamic local organisation that provides treatment for people abstinent from substance misuse. I use an Integrative approach that includes Person-centred and Psychodynamic modes of practice.
Confiding in the wrong person can be a devastating experience.
The fallout can compound feelings of hurt, betrayal and mistrust. I am commited to providing a safe, confidential space - where thoughts and feelings can be expressed.
